Campervan Photography in Kent and Sussex
I have been photographing campervans in Kent and Sussex for several years. I’m an avid camper, having toured from the South West, to West Wales and as far as The Hebrides. I have photographed vans for private clients and have also worked with rental sites such as Quirky Campers.
We start with picking a location or two and trying to get the weather to oblige. At certain times of the year we can work with afternoon sunlight and into dusk. I provide high quality images of all the details, ensuring all facilities are shown and trying to ensure that we give renters a sense of the lifestyle they can enjoy in your van.
Using a blend of stills photography, some video and drone photography I can ensure you have what you need to make your van stand out.
Campervan Locations
What Does a Campervan Shoot Consist Of?
External Shots
A variety of external shots, covering all the angles. Shot from the ground and also from the air.
Shot on Location
Images of your van within the landscape. Off-grid, at a campsite, showing your van in nature and selling adventure.
The Van Facilities
All the van's facilties and equipment are captured. Everything from gas hobs, showers to fuse boards and toilets.
Lifestyle Shots
Selling the van lifestyle. Sunset drinks, sausages on the BBQ, waking to a view. Setting the scene is a great seller.
Campervan Location Shoots
I love location work. There are plenty of opportunities in public spaces to get great images of your van in a more natural ‘off-grid’ setting. I also have a good knowledge of campsites throughout the South East and further afield. There are plenty of stunning sites where access for a shoot can be arranged.
I am happier to travel further afield where needed and have also taken vans for 24 hours to capture a range of shots.
Equipment
I use professional Canon cameras and lenses well-suited for producing high-quality results. I use both natural and off-camera lighting, as well as incorporating drone stills and video where appropriate. Drones can be useful to show additional equipment but also to provide those all important hero shots of the van in the landscape.

Dressing Shots
It is important to show everything your van offers but not to include things you won’t be providing. Having breakfast options, a bottle of wine, a cold beer or two can demonstrate how a van converts for dining and will show the functionality of fridges, gas hobs and help to sell the benefits of your vehicle.
I can advise on what you should have for a shoot or if you prefer I am happy to supply a simple F&B pack. If you plan to provide some complimentary items make sure these are available for the shoot.
On some shoots we’ve had the owner’s dogs to show how pet friendly a van is, or the owners and their kids to model some of the shots.
