School Photography in Kent and Sussex
School photography in Kent and Sussex shcools. I work with educators in both state Primary Schools through to Private schools. My quality images show your schools at work and play. The best photos capture learning, engaged children, happy children making use of your resources and the professionalism and care of your teams. Great images that will reinforce your school ethos and sell your school to prospective parents.
I work with Senior Leadership Teams to create a plan for how best to capture all that your school can offer. I do not do traditional class portraits but I work to build a wider picture of your school. A blend of candid and posed shots to cover all areas of school life, be it, pastoral, learning, arts, music, sport and recreation.
I have an active basic DBS and enhanced DBS with several schools. I understand the challenges you face with safeguarding and ensure your images are securely held and transferred and that the safeguarding of your students is always paramount.
I predominantly shoot stills but where required short videos and drone footage can be incorporated.

School's Photography - The Process
I am mindful that it can be tricky to align all that a school can offer on any given day. Where possible shoots can be broken down into small chunks over a couple of days. In the cases of larger schools, this can be planned over a school week. I create a lot of candid images, working quietly and from the sidelines. We’ll also need to stage a variety of shots to ensure we have the right people in the right places.
All images are stored securely and edited images are provided to schools to make the necessary omissions and/or adjustments for safeguarding.
Equipment
I use professional Canon cameras and lenses well-suited for producing high-quality results. In most cases, I shoot candidly, using natural light to maintain a lower profile. I am also a licensed drone operator, allowing me to get aerial footage of school layouts and facilities.
