More traditional or formal wedding photography is more about controlling the day and focusing on posed photographs. Couples more and more are asking for a less formal style of wedding photography. They want to spend less time away from their guests and more time enjoying their special day with family and friends.
Traditional wedding photography tends to break up the day into individual ‘photo opportunities’ and sometimes this approach can be a bit staccato.
I think a balance between the formal requirements on the day and working more candidly around the fringes with a longer lens is the way to go.
My job though is to ensure that I capture the feel of the wedding, the faces, the fun and the all-important details. It is about giving you what you want and I work to that end.
